Al Andrews
Service Manager |
"I started working on cars at the age of 8
with my father, which gave me the foundation for what I do today. My
dad spent many long hours in the garage with me, teaching me how to repair
and restore these cars. My first car, purchased at the age of 14,
was a 1963 Chevrolet Impala, which I purchased for a whopping $45.00.
The addiction to automobiles continues to this day. I am currently in the
process of restoring two cars!
|
I spent 25 years as a factory trained and certified General Motors Dealer
Technician and Shop Foreman. To keep up with the ever-changing technology,
I attended the General Motors Training Center.
As the Service Manager at Best of Show Automotive, my commitment is to
utilize my experience and knowledge to assure that our customers receive
exceptional performance and reliability from their classic & high performance
cars."

Jennifer Beck
Detailing
Manager |
"Some would say that being extremely picky and detail
oriented can be viewed as both a blessing and a curse. When combined
with a passion for automobiles, this approach results in the utmost care
and attention for our cars. Having spent many rainy days hanging out
at the local parts store, and many nights at the drag strip and car shows,
has allowed me to see the small details that separate the ordinary from
the extraordinary.
We use only the best products on our cars, as well as our customer's cars, and
when we are finished with a car, it's truly ready for a show. When you trust
your classic or special car to us, know that it will receive the special care
that it deserves!" — Jennifer Beck, Detailing Manager

"My first car was a 1950 Chevy, which was given
to me at the age of 13. On its way to the scrap yard before it was "given" to
me, the Chevy came with a blown clutch and an engine that turned over,
but would not start. My friend & I pulled out the Chiltons, saved enough
money to purchase some parts, and then put in a new clutch and got the
Chevy running again.
I learned how to drive in that car in 1st & reverse, going up and down my parent's driveway!
|
Since then, I have painted cars, pin-striped cars, and handled most of the mechanical and maintenance work on a long line of cars over the years.
After my six-year tour in the United States Navy, I took courses in commercial
art & mechanical design. At 25, after getting married, I began a career in mechanical
design, which lasted until I retired at the age of 63.
After retiring, I've spent my time pursuing art & photography, and handle all
of the photo shoots at Best of Show Automotive. I'm always seeking ways to improve
the quality of our photography and truly enjoy working with many of the same
cars I've owned over the last five decades."

Lenny Phillips
Body Shop
Manager |
"One of my earliest memories is sitting in the
rumble seat of an old Studebaker, while my dad and older cousin dropped
a big
block into it. I've always been drawn to cars... The roar of the engines,
the smell of racing fuel at the track, and the beauty of a well done
classic or restored car. My motto is: "Run it may, shine it must!"
I love making them shine.
With more than 30 years of hands-on experience as a body and paint man, I can
make your car shine with the best of them!"
