Capacity crowd, over 400 classic cars make
grand opening a huge success
Mentor, OH, June 1 , 2009 — Best of Show Automotive,
one of the finest classic and muscle car organizations in the world,
is proud to announce the success of its recent Mentor Museum of Speed
Grand Opening Weekend celebration which drew over 4,800 attendees
and 410 classic cars during the weekend.
"The fact that we doubled our expectations is a clear demonstration of the strong
interest people have for classic, muscle and high-performance cars," said Joseph
Carroll, President and CEO of Best of Show Automotive. "As part of our commitment
to the appreciation and preservation of the industry, we launched our Mentor
Museum of Speed several months ago as a facility exclusively for the classic,
muscle, and high-performance enthusiasts to view, discuss, and buy world-class
vehicles from eras gone by in an informed and interactive setting."
Best of Show Automotives Mentor Museum of Speed's Grand Opening Weekend featured free access to the museum's $10 million worth of world-class inventory, an outstanding car show that seemed to have every marque represented, interactive displays, free music, food, arcade games, prizes, and the opportunity to ask questions and gain advice from Best of Show Automotives world-class restoration experts. The free weekend also enabled attendees to discuss critical topics and share best practice experiences directly with fellow enthusiasts and industry experts.

"Better insight into craftsmanship and decisions based on concrete data is the key to preserving the industry, rather than wading through endless amounts of information.
