Best of Show Automotive Provides Free Registration and Drives Record Crowd to Mentor City Cruise
On Saturday, September 12, 2009, more than 1200 cars descended on the city of
Mentor, Ohio for the 8th annual Mentor City Cruise, and Best of Show Automotive
was proud to help make it possible. Thanks to show hosts Mentor Classic Cruisers
and the City of Mentor, this cruise-in and car show has become one of the largest
in the region, drawing cars from as far away as Pittsburgh, Columbus, and even
Toronto, Ontario, making quiet Mentor, Ohio a hub of automotive enthusiasm.
"We've always believed that the best way to enjoy the collector car hobby is to actually get out and drive your car," said Joe Carroll, President and CEO of Best of Show Automotive. "This show is a great way to do that. It's very important for us to not only promote the hobby, but also the events that benefit enthusiasts, charity, and our home town of Mentor at the same time."
Best of Show Automotive sponsored the Mentor City Cruise by making registration free for all 1200 attendees. All show proceeds benefitted the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
