Best of Show Automotive wins 1st place in the Classic American
Performance class at the 15th annual invitation-only Glenmoor Gathering
of Significant Automobiles.
The 15th annual Glenmoor Gathering of Significant Automobiles was held
September 18 - 20, 2009, on the grounds of historic Glenmoor Country
Club near Canton, Ohio. This annual event is an automobile concours
d'elegance in the purest sense of the phrase-a celebration of automobile
design. The automobiles in attendance are by invitation-only, truly
making this event a celebration of the very best cars from around the
country.
Best of Show Automotive's 1967 Plymouth Hemi GTX took 1st place in the
Classic American Performance class, which stunned the crowd with its
subtle colors and flawless execution. This GTX is perhaps the world's
finest example, having been meticulously restored inside and out by our
in-house craftsmen. Starting with a highly-documented, well-preserved
California original, each and every component was refinished to factory
specifications with an eye towards precisely duplicating factory details
such as paint markings, labels, and textures. This award proves that not
only are the best muscle cars able to stand proud on the show field with
the finest antiques and Classics, but that quality workmanship will
always speak for itself.
"We were honored to be invited to participate in this year's Glenmoor
Gathering," said Joe Carroll, President and CEO of Best of Show
Automotive. "Of course the bar would be set very high at an event such
as this, and we were eager to meet the challenge. We know that Best of
Show offers the finest restoration experts in the industry and that our
cars can compete-and win-at the very highest levels. A win this
significant helps reaffirm our uncompromising belief in quality
workmanship."
