It was a beautiful sunny Sunday, so there was a great turn out of cars. I think there were about 150, give or take. A lot of real nice cars. There were about a dozen cars in my class and my SLK 230 took first place. I nearly #%& my pants as they called my name, especially since I have never won a trophy for anything in my life, and to win one for this car, which I am in absolute love with, was an absolute thrill. A lot of people asked me where I bought the car, so I gave you guys a lot of praise for what you do out there at your place and encouraged all I talked to, to go and see what you guys have on the floor.

Anyway, I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed the car this past Spring/Summer and let you know about another one of your award winning cars you have sold. Although it does not fit into what you guys specialize in, it is still a testament to BOSA's taste in top-of-the-line quality in the cars they sell.

Dear Joe,
I wanted to drop an e-mail on how much fun the car show was. I was completely surprised on how many cars showed up for this event. It was an awesome turnout. Also I wanted to compliment the staff on how friendly they were.

I am writing this e-mail, and hopefully others will do the same, to show you how much fun we all had, and that I would suggest doing at the beginning and end of the summer. Not saying you need to do the free food and drink but to give families something to do together. I saw a lot of kids with parents and grandparents and everyone was having a good time.

Joe, I just wanted to say Thank You again for the Chevelle! It made its West Coast debut last night at The Cajon Classic Cruise, probably one of if not the largest weekly summer cruise nights in San Diego County, usually averaging 400-600 cars and thousands of spectators. The Chevelle drew tons of lookers! I was impressed on how many people not only knew what an LS6 was, but appreciated the restoration of the car. One guy mentioned how many are 'over-restored', and not married to a clean restoration and gently used originality. Some guys literally stood and just stared at the car! I also ran into two brothers from Ohio who know you!...small world, eh? I forgot their names but we exchanged email addys. They said they use to have a Chevrolet dealership back there (Sheffield?), and owned several LS6's. They said your reputation is well known for the highest quality muscle cars in Ohio! They were all over the Chevelle, saying how rare the red interior with bench seat is, and they have not seen another LS6 since they've been going to the cruise/shows out here. I was also asked by several folks who have upcoming car shows and events this summer if I would bring the Chevelle. Take care and I'll send some pics of the car shows and cruises!

It is 6:00, and we are home safely. The Plymouth ran perfectly, and we really enjoyed driving it. Thanks for all your help. We averaged over 19 miles to the gallon at 65 to 70 MPH. We did have to go slow thru many construction places. If we were driving with no construction I believe we could get 20 miles per gallon.

Solid as a rock, rides much better, and the brakes are manageable (although kind of unpredictable at times...but that's 4-wheel drum). Looks great with the VA black and white antique plates as well.

How do I like the car?? There is a commercial where the woman says "when you turn the car on, does it return the favor?" Oh Yeah!!! I've never seen such a mirror paint job before. When we got our last 3000GT, I asked my husband "where are we going from here?" Meaning nothing was ever going to measure up — so this is purrrrfect. I wish you guys would move your business over here so I could make a total nuisance of myself. I couldn't have asked for any better customer service!!!

I wanted to drop you a line to tell you that I received the Title to the 1964 Malibu SS this morning. This now will allow me to title the car and enjoy driving it around town — thanks. Also, wanted to express my thanks to all who were involved in this transaction: George, Kelly, Charlie and naturally you.

Being a car guy you can appreciate the following statement. Most car buffs enjoy the purchase of their new fine automobile no matter if it is a new or vintage ride. It is the hassle of dealing with the respective sales rep over price, and then the sales rep getting management to agree to the deal. Some car buffs may look to this as a challenge but for me this is a hassle that I just HATE but is necessary. I just wanted to take the time to tell you that from the first part of the sale, in communicating with you and agreeing on the final price; then to George in setting up all the paperwork; to Kelly in scheduling the pickup and delivery and finally to Charlie who finally delivered the vehicle. It was like dealing with my new BEST friend or a close and well liked family member. You guys removed all the squeamish feeling involved with the purchase of a vintage vehicle over the internet. What a feat!!!! I know that I will sing your abilities in the car circles here in the Orlando, Florida area and with this type of rapport your business will surely flourish to become the premiere vintage car dealership in the US and hopefully the world. Subject:  1971 Hemi Cuda
Hi Joseph,
The Cuda arrived in Calgary on November 9. The neighbors were all quite interested to see this extremely green car get unloaded. The snow had not arrived at that point so I actually got to drive it around a bit. It is awesome! When I am behind the wheel of this car, I am 19 years old again. It is great.

Garry Nord and his crew did a great job addressing the issues I had with the car. The differential is very quite and works great. I have already made a couple of changes on the car. I installed a Holley HP750 vacuum secondary carb, and a new fabricated and ceramic coated exhaust system with 50 series Flowmaster mufflers. I also installed a pinion snubber, because the engine has enough torque to wind the differential up to the point where the drive shaft hits the tunnel. I am also restoring a rim blow steering wheel with a matching shifter handle for the car that should be ready at the end of January.

The whole buying a car in the United States and importing it into Canada was a great experience in no small part due to the efforts of you and your staff. I thank you. My next classic car purchase is likely to be some flavor of Mustang and I will certainly give you a call.
